Into the Hinterglemmer valley head
Directly from the Ellmauhof you follow the path to the village street, cross the center of Hinterglemmer and change shortly after the village to the comfortable hiking trail. The promenade leads along the Saalach river to Lengau. From there the tour continues towards the Lindlingalm and back via the Ossmannalm in magnificent scenery. If you want to walk the entire round, you can cover about 20 kilometers. Earlier reversals are of course possible at any time.
At the Reiterkogel
For those who want to cover some meters in altitude while walking, the following tour is recommended: The path leads from the Ellmauhof in the direction of the end of the valley to the bridge at Lindlingweg, which leads up the mountain opposite the sports center. Follow the road to the Rosswaldhütte, past the new Rosswaldspeicherteich and the middle station of the Reiterkogelbahn and via the Pfefferweg back to the valley. Refreshment stops are available at the Rosswaldhütte, the Wieseralm and the Pfefferalm.
To Saalbach including motor park
From the Ellmauhof, follow the path into the valley and keep to the right in the direction of Saalbach. After about 4 kilometers you reach the first station of the popular motor skills trail. The facilities are located on a stretch of about 3.5 kilometers and are the perfect complement to the gentle full-body workout. The way back is again via the promenade along the Saalach or with the hiking bus, which can be used free of charge with the JOKER CARD.
